Lessons – I currently provide in-person lessons (one-on-one) at Robert’s Musical Instruments (West Warwick, RI) for beginning through advanced students in bass, drums, guitar, composition, arranging, and          theory.  Ensemble lessons can also be arranged through the music store, and would focus on rhythm section skills (i.e., critical listening, communicating, interpretation, etc…), genre studies (i.e., rock, jazz,              Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, etc…), or songwriting and production.

  • Individual Lessons – $30 1/2 hour $50/hour
  • Ensemble Lessons – $40 per student/ hour

Gigs – I am available for gigs on an on-call, semi-permanent, or permanent basis.  I have equipment that can accommodate any size venue and have a variety of equipment to provide you with the sound you want and need.  I am fully confident sight-reading charts and notation or transcribing music from recordings.  Check my calendar for availability, and always feel free to call or email me with any questions about gigs.

Production and Arranging – I am also available to help you, or your band, develop a consistent sound and style for your album.  Whether you need a string section part, a big band arrangement, or orchestral scoring, I can help you get the sound you want quickly and efficiently.

Research – I am available to both support your research efforts or to conduct research for you.  I have a wide array of statistical software packages available:

Stata 11MP, SPSS 16.0, R, G*Power 3.2, LISREL 8.8, and HLM 6.0 and have experience programming in Stata.

Consultation – If you need help learning how to apply the stuff that you learned in your statistics courses years ago or you just want to learn how to more effectively use your statistical software to do your analysis I can help.

Curricular Development – I develop curricula based on research from cognitive neuropsychological and developmental psychological research.  Although my expertise is in music, I am more than happy to help you find new ways to effectively teach your students.
